Francis Miot
Francis was lulled from a young age by his grandmother's authentic cooking, he went down the path of gastronomy until finally he created a collection of jams, sweets and chocolates that received multiple awards.
In 1985, he created his famous jam factory in the Southwest of France. From there the first "no sugar added" jams were created as were the famous Coucougnettes (chocolates), the Best Jam Maker in France, three times World Jam Champion, he always put innovation, quality and love at the heart of his goods and work.
For 30 years, alongside Jean-Bernard Othax, Francis trained his team and accompanied them in their desire to succeed. A fantastic creator, he passed on his stubborn desire to create novel new recipes to both the jam and the confectionary team.
In 2005, his meeting with Jean Othax, Jean-Bernard's brother, marked a turning point for the company.
Francis, wishing to retire gradually, gave up his shares to them and became the Consultant of Maison Francis Miot. The two brothers, who are passionate about tastes and flavors since their childhood, were guided into new territories of gourmet food and especially towards the conquest of foreign markets. Exceptional meetings with many Michelin-starred Chefs stimulate its creativity
Thus, a great complicity born between these 3 enthusiasts who will strengthen the DNA of the House: requirement - quality - craftsmanship - creativity.
This ambitious family breathe new life into the company and the team, attracting new talent. It is a big challenge but very exciting: to give a new dimension to this company while preserving its founding values.
