Clement Faugier
The Clement Faugier brand has a long and interesting history that goes back more than 100 years. In 1882, an abundance of chestnut production in the Privas region inspired Clement Faugier to launch an ice chestnut factory that would manufacture a variety of chestnut-based delicacies.
The idea was a huge success and the brand has gone from strength to strength since its inception. 1992 saw the construction of a new, larger ice chestnut manufacturing plant in Privas to accommodate the growing orders from around the world.
Through the years, the company has stayed true to its original recipes and techniques. Only the highest quality, all-natural ingredients are used. The chestnuts are harvested strictly from the Ardèche region in France. These chestnuts are so famous that their regional authenticity is protected by the AOC.
The Clement Faugier Chestnut Paste the brand's flagship product is an indulgent spread that is made according to a recipe that dates back to 1885. It is delicious when stirred into yogurt, pudding, cake, and ice cream or eaten straight from the can.
The Clement Faugier Chestnut Paste is also available in a convenient 7.75 oz tube, which is just right for the more adventurous traveler who wishes to carry their favorite delicacy with them everywhere they go.
